Attention Middle School Families!
It’s time to get ready for the next school year!
All rising 7th grade students are required to have updated immunizations (Tdap) on file before the first day of school.
• A completed Florida Form 680 or Form 681 is required
• The form must be electronically certified and submitted to your child’s school
• Forms can be obtained from the Wakulla County Health Department or your child’s medical provider
Families may begin submitting forms directly to their child’s school now, or upload them through the Focus Parent Portal.
We encourage families to take care of this early to avoid any delays when school starts.

After years of unwavering commitment, compassion, and service, they are beginning a well-earned retirement. Both have poured their hearts into our students, our staff, and our school community. Through their guidance, encouragement, and steady presence, they have helped shape not only academic success but also the character and confidence of countless students.
Mr. Peck and Mrs. Ballestero have been more than educators — they have been mentors, role models, and a source of inspiration. Their classrooms were places where students felt supported, challenged, and truly cared for. Their dedication has left a lasting mark on WMS, and their influence will continue to shine through the lives they’ve touched.
While it is difficult to say goodbye, we are so grateful for the legacy they leave behind. We wish them a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, and all the things they love most.
✨ Thank you, Mr. Peck and Mrs. Ballestero, for everything you have given to Wakulla Middle School. You will always be a part of the WMS family.

WMS is excited to announce teacher openings for the 2026–2027 school year!
We’re looking for enthusiastic, student-focused educators who want to inspire, lead, and make an impact in a supportive school community.
