⚾️ WMS Baseball Interest Meeting! ⚾️ Wildcats, it’s almost baseball season! If you’re interested in being part of the WMS Baseball Program, join us for our Baseball Interest Meeting on January 6th at 6:00 PM in the Wildcat Gym. The coaching staff will cover expectations, scheduling, tryout information, and everything you need to know before the season begins. Tryouts will be held January 13th–14th from 2:40–5:30 PM, with a possible third day on January 15th if needed. Siris impressed us all with outstanding focus, confidence, and an amazing display of spelling talent. All outfits must follow school dress code. Here’s what’s happening each day: 🎁 Monday 12/15 – Holiday Pajama Day Wear your coziest full-length holiday PJs! (No shorts, tanks, or gowns.) 🎄 Tuesday 12/16 – Holiday Headwear Day Break out those elf hats, antlers, Santa caps, and festive accessories! 🎉 Wednesday 12/17 – Ugly Sweater Day The uglier, the better! 🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at WMS 🇺🇸 Today, Wakulla Middle School proudly celebrated Veterans Day with a Veteran's Day Ceremony— a heartfelt morning dedicated to honoring those who have served our country. Our celebration began with a special breakfast for our visiting veterans, followed by moving student speeches that reflected gratitude and respect for their sacrifice. We were especially honored to have Mr. Bill Peck, WMS teacher and veteran, who spoke at our ceremony. We are thankful for his service and continued dedication to our students. Thank you to all the veterans who joined us today and to everyone who helped make this event so meaningful. ❤️

Attention Wrestlers and Families: Wrestling practice has been cancelled this Friday, November 7. All WMS students will be released at 2:25 pm to go home for the weekend.

Attention WMS Wrestlers and Families:

November 3 starts the first week of wrestling season. Parent night will be on Thursday, November 6 at 5:30 pm. right after practice in the WMS cafeteria. Parents should plan to attend this meeting to receive important information about the season.

The G8-orade Bottle Change Challenge is happening this week. There will be prizes awarded to the first two homerooms that fill their bottles and a grand prize for the class who collects the most money. This fundraiser raises money to defray costs for the 8th grade field trip.

🎃🧻 Mummy Madness in Ms. Kipp’s History Class! 🧻🎃 Ms. Kipp’s students are bringing ancient Egypt to life this Halloween season! 👀 They’ve been learning all about the fascinating process of mummification — and even conducted their own mummy experiment to see how the ancient Egyptians preserved their dead. It’s hands-on history at its spookiest (and most educational)! 🏺✨
